Background assignments

1. On this page you will find a great many different links that have to do with Shakespeare. Using this list of sites, find 7 facts about Shakespeare that you find interesting. Create a list of these facts and discuss why you find them interesting. Be sure you copy and paste the URL of the site in which you found that fact.
2. Watch the video entitled "Famous Authors" that you will find in your My Documents folder. (You will need headphones to do this, I can only supply so many so you will have to share or bring your own. You can also check out this video from me on a CD to be played in your home computer, otherwise it is only available at school.) Complete this worksheet based on the information from the video and email it to your teacher.
3. Write a blog entry discussing Shakespeare's background and his life.
