The Streak
The Rams are on a losing streak after starting out of what looked like to be another playoff born season. Somewhere early in the season had hit a bump on the road to the Superbowl as they had a 6 game losing streak, and begin to argue with each other trying to find the problem. Bulger the quarterback is blaming players of not caring whether they win or lose and is tired of being hit since he is playing with bruised ribs. They are in the locker room after another lost to this season that started out so well.
“Why didn’t you pick up that block it’s like you wasn’t even trying.” Bulger said. “It’s like you weren’t even trying to protect me do you even care about winning.”
“Are you saying I don’t care about this team and going to the Superbowl.” Incognito said.
“The way you are playing out there it looks like you are just here just to say you’re in the NFL. You are paid to block out there and you are not doing it you cause at least one penalty a game, and it’s the same dumb penalty, but it’s not just you there are other players in this locker room who are just here to take up a spot on the roster.” Bulger replied.
“Who else is it we are all men why don’t you tell us HUH.” Incognito said furiously.
Lets not do this we just need to play better football we lost and we are going to continue to lose until we play as a team.” Little said trying to calm his teammates and bring them together.
“Or until some of us decide to play to win.” Bulger said sarcastically.
“See that’s what I’m talkin ‘bout you put us down but you aren’t doin so well either. You haven’t been throwing touchdown passes to help the team,” Incognito said.
“ Both of y’all trippin we can still make the playoffs if we continue to play as a team.” Little said trying to bring his team together.
“ No I just care that much about winning some people in this locker room don’t care they just want to say they’re on the team,” Bulger said. “I won’t say nothing about it if you just play your heart out next week”
“ Alright even though I play my hardest already but if you feel I play my hardest next week I don’t want to hear anything else about this,” Incognito said.
The next week the Rams won 27-6 and Incognito played his hardest Bulger didn’t get sacked once. The two are back in the locker room this time in a different mood.
“See we could do it the whole time thanks for protecting me,” Bulger said.
“No prob man you’re welcome.
