One Bad Decision By Kajuan B. The day started off like a normal day. I'm coming home from school, Going out side. Everybody was doing what he or she does best. When we all met up at the basketball court. We played a game of tips. It was seven people, me, Curtis, Brandon, Travis, Neiko, Antoine, and my brother Xavier. We stayed with each other the whole day. After a few hours, from playing basketball and have a good time. We all went to our own house and chilled for a minute from the game we played earlier. At eight o'clock PM, I had a phone call, It was Brandon. Brandon said to meet him at New Jamestown. So I went, and waited for him at New Jamestown. When he showed up at New Jamestown, Antoine was with him. Brandon spoke first, he said we are going to go to Antoine house come with us. I said ok lets stop at my house for a minute before we go. They said ok and we left New Jamestown. At nine thirty PM, everybody that we played basketball with, showed up at my house. Brandon said that he also called them when he was at his house, to come with us. As we were walking I stared at the full moon and a teardrop fell from my eye, but I was not crying. I had a feeling something bad was going to happen, but I ignored it. So we all went for a walk to Antoine's house like ten minutes down Bellfontine road we seen two dogs barking at us as we walked pass them. It was a pitbull and a German Shepherd. As we go farther down the road that's when the something bad happens. The dogs jumped or broke open the gate and chased us down the street. As we was running we all seen a train sitting on the tracks. So we all jumped on it. We stayed on the train until the dogs left, but they didn't. As we waited, the train started moving down the tracks and we stayed on it because we thought that the dogs was going to find us if we jumped off the train earlier. Then the train started to move faster, five to ten mph, ten to twenty. The dogs stopped in the middle of the tracks and walked off. We was going to jump off but, there was rocks we was passing at the time, then the train gained more speed twenty to thirty. When we passed the rocks the then it was small ones and we all tried to get off the train, but it was going too fast. Then Brandon try's to run with the train while I hold his arm. As I held his arm his feet dangled from the ground and his feet hits a rock and took him down. All the other boy's jumped off the train while I was still on it. Then I thought to my self I'm gonna pass a river and I can't swim so I jumped off and landed on my chest. As I got up I thought I was going to die because I could not feel my finger tips or my arms and I felt woozy. I couldn't even walk so I called out to any body that was near me but, there was no sound, as I seen the butt of the train go by, there was complete silence. So many thoughts went through my head about the other boy's, I thought they was all gone. So I tried to walk and went up the track to find the boy's. Suddenly blood was running from my head and legs. After a few minutes I find the other boy's in a worse condition then I was Travis had fractured arm, Brandon legs was beat up from toe to hips. Antoine head was really bloody from the rocks, Xavier elbow was scraped up. And Neiko was ok somehow he had scratches. As we all walked up the highway to Arrowpoint elementary school. I fall out for some reason but I can still hear people calling out my name. I wake up at three o'clock AM with bandages all over my head and arms Curtis was on the side off me getting stitches on him head then a few more minutes we all was driven home and that's all I could remember…
