Picking Up The Retro 1 Package

It was a hot Thursday morning during the summer of 2007. I was very excited because the retro 1 package. My cousin and I were waiting on these Jordans all year. Now the Jordans come out this weekend and I don’t have the money yet but my cousin does.  Now I have I ride to get the shoes I just don’t have the money to get them yet.

“Mama I have a big question to ask you.” the boy said
“ What do you want I’m at work.” Mom said
“ Mama do you have some money.”
“ Yeah I have a couple of dollars why?”
“ I need some money to get the Jordans that come out Saturday.”
“ Didn’t I give you money to get the Jordans that came out two weeks ago.”
“ Yeah. You did mama.”
“ Anyway I only have $50 dollars on me until I go an cash my check that afternoon.”
        “ Mama please I need these shoes to go to school wit and to the mall this weekend.”
“  Damn boy here take this money and get out of my face.”
“ Thanks mama but I need like $200 dollars more.”
“ You need to go and ask your daddy to give you the money he said he was going to give you.”
“ Okay mama I will is he at his house right now?”
“ Yeah he should be at home.Isn’t it 6:00.”
“ Yes mama it is all right I’m going to call him and see what he says.”
“ Call me back and tell me what he says.”
“ Okay I will.”
 Boy calls dad phone rings.
“ Hello.” Said boy
“ Hello.” Said dad
“Daddy can I ask you a question?”
“ Yeah son what’s up.”
“ I need some money pops. Can you give me some?”
“ I owe you about $100 dollars
“  Yeah you do. Can I come get it for the Jordans that come out this weekend?”
“ Why are you asking me can you come and get the money, it belongs to you
“I’m going to have my mama bring me over there and get the money.”
“ Okay son see you when you get here bye.”
 Boy calls mom. The phone rings
“ Hello mama he said you got to bring me over there to get the money.”

“ Okay I will when I get off work at 6.”
“ Mama please I need you to get off early.”
“ No I can’t leave early what’s wrong with you.”
“ But mama please can you I need these shoes.”
“I’ll finish talking to you when I get home bye boy.”
“ All right bye mama.”
                                                       Mom pulls up at 6:oo
                 
                                           “ Mama how nice it is to see you here all safe.”
                                           “ Here’s your money now lets go and get the rest of it from your daddy.”
                                           Boy calls dad. The phone rings.
                                   “ Hello daddy I’m on my way I have my key too so you don’t have to open the door.”
                                    “ All right son.  Bye.”
                                     Boy goes to his dad’s house and unlocks door gets the money and leaves.
                                    “ Now mama I just need $100 more dollars and I will be complete. 
                                     “ Okay now you need to get the rest.”
                                     “ I thought you was going to give it to me out of your check.”
                                     “ Well you don’t get paid to think now do you.”
                                     “ No I don’t mama.”
                                    “All right then I told you I’m going to cash my check Saturday.”
                                   
                                       “Saturday comes and he still doesn’t have the rest of the money.”

                              “Mama come on I need these shoes.”
                               “ I can’t I’m sorry.”
                               “ Okay I can’t mama I’m just not going to get them.”
                              “ Go to Herald Penners that men’s store and find you some
shoes.”
                              “ Okay mama.
