Malcolm Xaiver Gorham 2nd hour Mr. William Bass class English 10 a My First Day of High School Before my first day of high school I was excited. I had got 10 new outfits and new shoes to show off. Waking up early was so exciting and since my brother and my sister both went to Hazelwood East nothing would have been better then to come here. Well except for how the upper class men were going to beat me up because I was little (HAHA). By waking up so early in the morning I had to go to sleep at 7 o’clock p.m. As my alarm clock goes off at 4 o’clock in the morning, I am laying there think bout if I should get up. But I remember that it is the first day of high school. Running up stairs to take a shower, I wake every body up screaming and shouting about school and my first day. I was so happy that I finally made it. With my id around my neck and my cloths on outside waiting for the bus. My friend Eric and me waited for the bus when my friend Mickey and her sister came out. They could tell that I could not wait for school. As the bus pulls up I start to jump and shake and wiggle till it gets here. Walking on to the bus I show the bus driver my id loud and proud and make everybody else wait. Finding a seat was hard, but I made it. When I go to the school I saw a lot of my friend from Kirby. I was lucky to a have a cousin that was up here at Hazelwood East so she showed me around and introduced me to some of her friend. Because she was a senior she had all the connections to who ever. But once I started to make my name I branched off here wing and started my own. Making new friends was hard, but east at the same time because I knew people that had big time connections. All of my classes were to find once I had a map. But one class was hidden from me. Even that I had lots of fun I his class of it was so far. At the end of the day of my first day of high school I came out a man. Not really but we can say that. Nobody ever picked on me because I was a freshman. It was easy to learn the ropes of high school. Running from class to class making sure that you aren’t late was so much fun. Still to this day it is exciting. All the kids in the halls , all the noise of the feet (kick klack). The teachers yelling “That’s the tardy bell. You better get to class.”
