My Mom is the Best person EVER!! To other people a mom is a person who takes care of her children. But to me my mom is something more. She is my protector, and my best friend. Out of everyone that I have met, my mom is the most wonderful person that I have ever known. No one is like my mom. My mom is the greatest person in the world, because she’s very intelligent, kind-hearted, and generous. First of all, my mom is very intelligent. If I don’t understand something, she would help me to understand. For instance, when I didn’t understand my math homework she helped me with it. Another example, was when I asked her about a vocabulary word, and she told me how to pronounce it and what it meant. Being intelligent, she is also quite skillful. Like, when I had a question about art, she answered it and taught me how to do it. Or, when she showed me that she could use both of her hands for writing. She is also brilliant when she cooks. For example when she is learning a new recipe she could remember it for the next time. Another example, was when she helped me to cook the Thanksgiving Dinner. Besides being intelligent, my mom is kind-hearted. She is very nice to my friends when they come over. For instance, when my friend Daphanie came over, and she offered some of my old clothes to her. Another example, was when my friend Jamila came over, and my mom offered her dinner. She also cheers me up. Like, when I was in elementary school a lot of people teased me, and when I got home and told my mom she told me that it wasn’t true. When my dad yelled at me, my mom told him to stop, and she gave me a hug. Also she’s kind to others. For instance, my fifth grade teacher didn’t have any parent volunteer for the “Family Fun Night”, and my mom kindly volunteered. Another example, was when one of my friends was sick, and she prayed for her. In addition to being kind-hearted, my mom is very generous. She gives me money when I need it. For example, when I couldn’t afford something she gave me some of hers. Another example, was when I needed money for food, for a field trip and she gave me some money. She also gives me food. Like, when I was a newborn baby when I cried she fed me. Or, when I was hungry when I came home from school, she baked some cookies. She is also generous in loving me. When everyone hated me, I knew that when I came home she would replace that hate with her love. When I wanted to die, her love for me changed my mind. As a result of her intelligence, kindliness, and generosity she is the best person I have ever known. She helps me to understand homework and others things, such as things about art; drawing. She’s kind to my friends and teachers. She prays for my sick friends, and people I care about. She gives me money, food, shelter, clothes, a home, and her love. She is truly the BEST!
