1. Write your own poetry -- For this assignment you will post eight ORIGINAL poems to your blog. Each of these poems are formula poems descriptions of which can be found below. The blog entrys need to have the name of the poem as the title.

2. Compare and contrast two poems -- Choose one of the selections below and compare and contrast these two poems. You will be writing about the similarities and differences that you see in the poems and are expected to use specific examples from them. You can write about the topic that is being discussed, the poetic elements that are found in them or the use of the language. This should be written in essay form and structured with an introduction, 3 body paragraphs with supporting details from the poems as well as a conclusion in which you write about your opinions of both poems. This should be written in Word and then emailed to me.
